Terms of service

These terms apply to Onde at onde.earth and to its APIs, such as City API. Alatus Labs, Largo da Graça 35, 1170-165 Lisboa, Portugal, runs Onde. When you create an account, you accept these terms.

Your keys

Each request with one of your keys counts against your plan, and you are responsible for it. Use your keys only in your own products. Do not give, sell, or lend a key to another person or company. A public key is visible in browser code, so set its allowed origins in the dashboard.

Fair use

You may not:

• Send automated traffic above the rate limit of your plan, or try to get around a rate limit or a quota, for example with more accounts or keys.
• Use the API to copy the dataset in bulk, for example with requests that go through all cities.
• Attack, overload, or probe the service, or use it for something that is illegal.

The data

You can store the data that the API returns, change it, and give it to others. These terms add no restrictions to it. If you give the data to others, keep the credit that the quick start gives.

Personal data

The privacy policy tells what we store about your account. If your requests contain personal data of your users, the data processing agreement applies. It is part of these terms.

The service

We give the service as it is. We do not promise an uptime or the correctness of each result. We can change or remove a feature.

We can block a key or close an account that breaks these terms. If possible, we tell you by email before we do this.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount that you paid us for the service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. The laws of some countries do not permit these limits, so they may not apply to you.

End of the agreement

You can delete your account at any time on the Account page of the dashboard.

Law

Portuguese law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your country.

Changes

We publish each change on this page with a new date. Before a change that affects you, we tell you by email.
